The PhD project will first investigate whether thematic and word-for-word repetition differentially influence perceived truth for both trivia and conspiracy statements. In a second step, the project will examine whether retrieving verbatim (literal) and gist (meaning-based) memory representations contributes to these effects, using an original experimental procedure and multinomial processing tree models.

Role of excitatory glycinergic receptors (eGlyRs) in the ventral hippocampus (HPCv) in modulating sleep markers and regulating contextual emotional memories

The goal is to investigate how the nonlinear and compartmentalised neuron's dendritic tree gives rise to recurrent network-like dynamic operations. As a part of this work we will examine how the in vivo-like network activity impacts dendritic dynamics and output.
