The study will involve a comparison between several species of primates (capuchin monkeys, baboons, great apes, humans), which will enable us to contrast the cognitive and social prerequisites involved and their impact on the performance of individuals within each species. The primates will be studied at several sites across Europe (zoos) with populations accustomed to performing cognitive tasks.

This PhD project will investigate the emergence of body representations from infancy to childhood by combining functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), electroencephalography (EEG), and behavioural approaches.

This thesis is part of the ANR Inflamage project, which aims to develop diffusion MRI markers
capable of detecting brain inflammation non-invasively.
