Texte de l'offre | Our team from Nutrineuro laboratory in Bordeaux Neurocampus, France is looking for a highly motivated and creative postdoctoral fellow to work with us on the deleterious consequences of obesogenic diet consumption on the brain. Obesogenic diet consumption has deleterious consequences not only on the cardio-vascular system but also on brain functioning, leading to neuropsychiatric symptoms.
We are located at the Bordeaux Neurocampus, the Neuroscience Department of the University of Bordeaux, which offers state-of-art core facilities in an excellent international and multidisciplinary scientific environment.
We seek to recruit a highly passionate and motivated postdoctoral fellow with a strong interest in studying molecular pathways of memory impairments in a context of unbalanced nutrition. The candidate should hold a Ph.D. degree in Life Science, preferentially in Neurosciences. Candidates with expertise in Matlab/python analyses and ideally with a background in fiber photometry approaches are strongly encouraged to apply. Prior experience with behavioral analyses or molecular biology is not required. The successful applicant should show the ability to think critically and drive a project independently while collaborating with members of the lab and collaborators. English is the working language. Knowledge of French is not required.
The position is funded by an ANR grant for 2 years. Salary will be commensurate to previous experience and in line with INRAE guidelines.
