Team "Biomarkers of therapeutic treatment and relapse in neuropsychiatric pathologies" of UMR-S 1144 has currently an open early career post-doctoral position, which will start in September 2022.

Candidates must have a PhD degree and a practical experience in molecular approaches in psychiatric disorders.

The candidate will investigate biomarkers of response to lithium in bipolar disorders using molecular, cellular and biochemical approaches. The candidate will also have frequent interaction with clinicians on the project. The ability to work both independently and cooperatively within a team is essential.

Profile:

Ph.D. thesis already obtained, defended in 2019, 2020 or 2021

Strong experience in epigenetics, transcriptomics, quantitative PCR, and cell culture required.

Previous experience in the study of transcriptomics and methylomics data is preferred.

English: written and spoken.

Salary:

Salary will be commensurate to previous experience and in line with guidelines from Université de Paris.
