TEXTE DE L'OFFRE | The post-doctoral researcher will work in the sub-group “understanding the molecular mechanism of SMA” at the IGMM with the aim to identify mislocalized axonal mRNA in SMA motor neurons and study their dynamics of local translation in healthy and pathological conditions. He/she will have to perform cell culture of motor neurons derived from iPSCs in microfluidic devices, use and optimize molecular biology techniques as well as live cell imaging in order to biophysically model mRNA transport and translation in SMA motor neurons. This contract is part of an interdisciplinary project in collaboration with a team in Israel that will perform the same missions as the post-doctoral researcher to study another neurodegenerative disease. |
