DETAILS OF THE OFFER

The International Max Planck Research School for Translational Psychiatry (IMPRS-TP) offers a unique integrated setting for experimental and clinical research as part of a residency training program in psychiatry and psychotherapy.

Successful candidates begin with one year of clinical training, either at the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy of the Ludwig-Maximilians-University or the Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry. On completion of their first year, they then continue on to do a PhD within the IMPRS-TP program. After obtaining their PhD, candidates return to their residency program to complete their clinical training in psychiatry and psychotherapy.
