Missions:
The role of the new recruit will be to characterize the phenotype of mouse models for genetic pathologies linked to dysfunction of the NALCN ion channel, a key player in the excitability of neurons and endocrine cells.
Qualifications:
Knowledge
Expertise in the techniques to be used (patch-clamp, calcium imaging, in vivo gene transfer, etc.)
Experience in the study and analysis of locomotor activity and cognition in rodents
fluent scientific English
Know-how
design and carry out experiments
plan and set up a scientific study
organize day-to-day work
keep up-to-date with scientific literature
present results at meetings and conferences
know how to write a scientific project and article, and have a good ability to synthesize information
