DETAILS OF THE OFFER | Working place: The Brain and Cognition Research Center (CerCo) is a CNRS-University Mixed Research Unit located at the Pavillon Baudot in the hospital Purpan in Toulouse Missions: The recruited PhD student will participate in setting up and monitoring the Locus-Tau clinical study, an ancillary study to the INSPIRE-T cohort managed by the Toulouse University Hospital. This study aims to assess the value of imaging and eye-tracking measurements to quantify the progression of pathological phospho-Tau lesions (characteristic of Alzheimer's disease) in the nervous system of older individuals. The PhD student will develop the software tools dedicated to the analysis and processing of the data collected in the project (PET and MRI images, eye-tracking signals, behavioral data). He or she will implement the data acquisition protocols, supervise the progress of acquisitions during the study (start scheduled for early 2024) in collaboration with the various partners (Inserm TONIC, Toulouse University Hospital), and ensure quality control, analysis and processing of the data acquired using the tools put in place. She or he will write scientific articles and abstracts, and present at conferences, to communicate the results of the project.
