DETAILS OF THE OFFER | Working place: Laboratory of Interdisciplinary Physics (LIPhy) of the Grenoble Universityt / Team Neuron Imaging & Calcium Channel Missions: Our Laboratory is specialized in optical techniques applied to brain slices with a long record of experience in the field. The selected candidate will principally work on a project exploiting a new mouse line expressing a genetically encoded voltage sensor in excitatory neurons. Specifically, she/he will characterise optical signals combining them with patch clamp recordings and investigate how global network activity can be exploited to develop novel assessments for therapeutic molecules in an ex-vivo environment. Qualification: The preferred candidate will have experience and skills in electrophysiology in brain slices. This position is ideal for a young scientist at her/his first postdoctoral experience, although more senior candidates will be also considered.
