DETAILS OF THE OFFER | Working place: Laboratory of Experimental and Clinical Neurosciences Poitiers University Located in a modern building at Poitiers University, our 40 lab members are organised into 3 recognized research teams. We conduct investigations on neurological and psychiatric pathologies such as Parkinson's disease, cortical trauma, drug addiction and neurodevelopmental disorders. Approaches are cross-disciplinary (e.g. molecular and cellular biology, cell therapy, in vivo and in vitro electrophysiology, behaviour, imaging) and translational in line with Poitiers University Hospital and the Clinical Investigation Center-INSERM. Research interests of applicants are expected to fit into one of these research topics.
Job opportunities for Neuroscientists in a supportive environment We are currently opening a range of opportunities at different career stages:
- Junior post-doc level: will receive training and support to apply for an INSERM permanent position and for AVENIR Team funding. If successful to INSERM recruitment, candidates will benefit from lab space, access to a wide variety of equipment and a welcome financial support totaling up to 300 K¤.
- Senior post-doc level: will be eligible for an INSERM or university Junior Professor’s position with a welcome financial support reaching up to 500 K¤ if successful.
