DETAILS OF THE OFFER | Working place: The Paris-Saclay Institute of Neuroscience (NeuroPSI) Missions: The Paris-Saclay Institute of Neuroscience (NeuroPSI) is an institute dedicated to basic neuroscience research at the University of Paris- Saclay, located 25 km South-West of Paris. NeuroPSI research groups address a wide range of questions in neuroscience, from molecules to cognition and from embryo to adult, using multi-scale experimental and theoretical approaches. The brand-new NeuroPSI building is located next to the NeuroSpin institute for brain imaging, thus forming the largest neuroscience cluster in the Paris area.NeuroPSI will provide new groups with office and laboratory space, and access to state-of-the-art core facilities for microscopy, transcriptomics, behavioral analysis, histology, and data analysis, as well as animal facilities for aquatic and terrestrial species. Paris-Saclay University is the highest-ranked university in France, offering a highly interdisciplinary and collaborative environment that combines science and engineering teaching with excellent laboratories in fundamental and applied science. Qualifications: Candidates, junior or mid-career level, are expected to develop independent research programs in neuroscience. The call aims to recruit candidates from various fields of neuroscience. This includes developmental neurobiology, animal behavior, neurogenetics, comparative neuroscience, neurophysiology and systems neuroscience, as well as neuro-informatics and computational neuroscience. |
