Missions:

The post-doctoral student will be part of Alexandre Charlet's team whose research theme focuses on understanding the cellular mechanisms that underlie the regulation of our emotions, from social interaction to pain and more by anxiety, within the Institute of Cellular and Integrative Neurosciences (INCI).

The the selected candidate will work under the supervision of Alexandre Charlet within the framework of the funded project around astrocytes-neurons interactions underlying the neuropeptidergic regulation of emotions.

Main tasks :

• In vivo calcium imaging
• Analyzes
• Report writing

Additional tasks:

• Communications in international conferences and publications in international peer-reviewed journals

Qualifications:

The candidat must be independent, motivated and very enthusiastic, with strong expertise in either in vivo extracellular electrophysiology, in vivo or ex vivo calcium imaging. Complementary skills including Python programming, ex vivo patch-clamp or molecular biology are welcome. Candidate should hold a PhD in Neuroscience or related disciplines.
