Working place: Developmental Brain Disorder Laboratory at the Imagine institute (Necker Hospital, Paris 75015) (institutimagine.org/dbd lab).

Missions:

The goal of the project is to develop cellular models to study pediatric neurological diseases caused by cerebellar developmental defects.

Main missions:

• Culture of human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs)
• Set-up of 2D and 3D cell culture protocols to generate cerebellar progenitor cells and neurons.
• Functional characterization of cell proliferation, survival and differentiation.
• Use of CRISPR/Cas9 and other genome editing approach to create or correct patient's mutation.
• Study calcium signaling during neural differentiation.
• Highly collaborative project with strong interactions with other Lab members.

Qualifications:

Experience and knowledge:

• General cell cultures experience (needed) and hiPSCs culture (recommended).
• Confocal fluorescence imaging and image analysis.
• General molecular biology (PCR, RTqPCR, Sanger sequencing...), CRISPR/Cas9 (recommended).
• Basic knowledge on neuroscience and neurodevelopment.

 Profile: Master or equivalent (IE grade) with 0-3 years of experience
